DESCRIPTION: YUCCA FLAT and vicinity at NTS. This aerial photograph was acquired at 43,000 feet above mean sea level and has a nominal scale of 1:100,000. North is toward the top of the photograph. Prominent features include over 200 subsidence craters from underground explosions, Sedan Crater is at the north fringe of Yucca Valley, and the mountain ranges on the eastern border of NTS with the Nellis Bombing and Gunnery Range.
