Public Involvement
An integral component of the Environmental Management Program is the public involvement function. Communication with the public is an essential
element in successfully conducting Environmental Management work. Public involvement initiatives include developing and distributing fact
sheets, publications, and exhibits as well as supporting regularly-scheduled meetings between the Nevada Site Office staff and stakeholders,
and special interest presentations and discussions. Additionally, interested stakeholders are invited to provide independent comments and
ideas.
Specialty group tours may be available upon request.
The Environmental Management Program also supports a site-specific advisory board called the
Community Advisory Board (CAB) for Nevada Test Site Programs. The Board makes recommendations on Environmental Management Program
issues and activities.
